CCB Sunday, December 1 @11AM:
“Bearing Witness Through Music”
with David Rovics

Our intrepid troubadour, just back in the US from a tour of Europe, will be live at CCB, bearing witness to the horrors and celebrating the solidarity, mostly by singing about it.  He’ll also talk about the various uses of music and other forms of culture in effectively reaching the hearts and minds of people, with examples provided.

• David Rovics is an American indie singer /songwriter, musician, writer and podcaster based in Portland, Oregon. His music concerns both topical subjects such as the war in Gaza, anti-globalization, anarchism, and social justice issues, and also labor history.
